Logic Premium Electronic Cigarettes

You don’t even get a carrying case, which is unfortunate. You do get the Power Series battery and two Black Label cartomizersa portmanteau of cartridge and atomizer. As with Blue Cigs, the atomizer, a mechanism which helps the device create the plume of vapor, is built into the cartridge that contains the nicotine-infused liquid. The cartomizer screws into the battery, making up the whole eCig. Each cartomizer contains 1.8 percent of nicotine by volume. I prefer how Blu breaks down the nicotine content of its cartridges by milligrams. Logic’s website says that each cartomizer is good for 400 puffs.

Electronic Cigarettes: Do They Really Help Smokers Quit?

Eat Produce Eating lots of fruits and veggies could help smokers maintain a tobacco-free lifestyle, according to research from the njoy University of Buffalo. The study, published in the journal Nicotine and Tobacco Research, included 1,000 smokers ages 25 and older. The researchers had the participants answer surveys about their smoking habits and their fruit and vegetable intake. Then, they followed up with them 14 months later and asked them if they used tobacco over the past month. The researchers found that there was a relationship between the amount of fruits and vegetables the study participants ate, and the likelihood that they quit — and stayed off — tobacco. In fact, people who ate the most produce in the study were three times more likely to report that they’d been tobacco free in the previous month.

Electronic cigarette ignites debate

A red light leading restaurant owners and health officials to say stop. “Electronic cigarettes, to me, is smoking. It’s the same thing, it’s the same type of scene it is. In all our restaurants where we have non-smoking areas, it will be non-smoking for electronic cigarettes,” says Eau Claire restaurant owner Lisa Aspenson. Especially when the federal government isn’t controlling what’s in a cloud of e-cig vapor.
